My paternal grandmother’s maiden name was something close to Maggenheim. She was from Austria and emigrated to the US in about 1905 or so with her husband, Max Karpf. They settled in the Bronx and she had six children.
Any chance you know where your “Maggenheim” name hails from?

Les and I were bar mitzvah together and I attended his Camp for one year

I went to Delawaxen for two years. Went to American University 1963-1967. Les also attended AU I believe1962-1966
