Anyone know where the location of the camp is. My brother tried to find it and drove around for 3 hours. Any info would be helpful.

Camp (what is left of it) is still in Lackawaxen, Pa where it always was on the banks of the Delaware River where it meets the Lackawaxen River. The original front entrance is no longer open because there are now private homes on the property. One must go under the railroad tracks, make a left turn and enter at the first right turn opportunity. If you are familiar with the buildings, you will see that many of them have been incorporated into the new homes such as the boys infirmiry, Bambi Hall and the Canteen.

I found it once in the late 80s, early 90s. I think it was a Christian camp, but was empty when I visited in that fall. I remember walking the grounds and getting chills when I pressed my face up against one of the bunk windows and took a deep breath. Something was so familiar. I had packed a lunch, so went down the bank to the river, just below where Mother Nellie used to wash our hair, and just sat there remembering. That was a special day for me.
